    Writing for the Web Class

This past Tuesday, I announced a class we will be offering in January and February, 2008 to teach writers and editors how to write for the web.

For years, I have needed help putting together all the emails, articles and press releases for our events, classes and mentoring programs but haven’t had anyone trained in each one of those areas to do it.

We also need to produce ebooks to tell all the marvelous stories that are resulting from this move of God that is sweeping across the country where families are going back to working from home.

So that class will begin in January. Deadline to register is midnight, Sunday, December 30.

    Our Philosophy of Home Schooling

I started homeschooling my 7 children in 1987 and decided to fill their lives with practical "real world" education.

My oldest son Drew wasn’t the most academic kid on the block, but when he was just 18, he became a real estate investor.

By the time he was 21, he replaced his dad’s income so his dad could come home from corporate America and care for his elderly father.

Drew figured out a very cool way to sell houses on eBay in just 7 days while getting the price he wanted so now he now teaches real estate investors how to sell houses on eBay and has become a popular speaker at real estate investment seminars.

When I told my Yahoo! Group about it, 100 people came to my house for a one-day workshop. Four flew! The next year it happened again!

That’s how we found ourselves in the middle of hosting an annual international home business conference where families learn how to become financially free together.

That conference has also expanded to educational courses and mentoring.

So, until Midnight, Sunday, December 30th, you can get 20 years’ worth of the lessons we’ve learned the hard way in 3 e-books for less than the price of one! Just $9.97!

After that, we’re going to offer them separately and for much more.

    Titles Are:

    * "Educating for Success: Developing the Mindset of an Entrepreneur"
    * "10 Things This Mama Taught Her Kids about Having Their Own Businesses"
    * "How to Start a Business with Nothing but an Email Address"

    Accounting Education

One of the dads I am working with who is an accountant has just created a wonderful new resource for small business owners who need help with the financial side of their business.

Not everyone can get a degree in accounting before they begin a business, so Darrel Hawes of Washington has developed an interactive site where you can log on to his forum and ask ANYTHING you want about your finances.

In other words, he is making his knowledge and expertise available for the members of his online small business community. Is that amazing or what?

For a limited time, he is opening his site to charter members.

Grief Support

One of the Moms I am working with, who is a former Hospice worker and social worker, has a heart for helping those who are suffering from grief.

No matter what the cause of the grief is, we all need to learn how to deal constructively with emotional pain.

Pam Clark, a homeschooling mom of five from Colorado, shares her story, her heart and her compassion with the members of her site. She wants to help others step through the grief that is inevitable on this earth.

If you know anyone who is hurting for any reason, you are welcome to mention this ministry to them.

Drew’s Smashed Car Story

You can only imagine what life is like with Drew around. Well, this week, he almost sold a smashed car that’s been sitting in the front pasture since his friend wrecked it about three years ago.

He put the auction on… where else?

eBay.

The winning bidder drove three hours from Mississippi to our place, the Backside of Nowhere in Southern Tennessee, to pick up this car.

The winning bidder, Dennis, buys wrecks, fixes them, and then resells them. Well, they had poured gas into the carburetor to start it so just as we were loading the car onto the car dolly, the car caught on fire!

Well, Dennis said, "I don’t think I want that car after all," and left.

So if anyone is interested in a slightly burned, smashed, low mileage Honda Civic, let me know.

Oh, and go read the auction copy before it expires. It’s a riot!

Just go to eBay.com, log in, search for Seller – DrewTheWildMan, then check his completed auctions.

Boys!

For years I have been helping families focus on working their way home from corporate America as my son and I helped our dad, Wendell.

It doesn’t happen quickly so if that is your desire, pray and decide to get started.Something is happening in this country.

I don’t think it’s good.

During the Depression, those who had cash in the bank not only survived but thrived when everyone else was jumping out of windows.

I personally believe that those who are prepared financially when hard times arise soon will shoulder the storm better than those who are not.

I am dedicated to helping families enter into the freedom that my family has discovered.

There is more than just having a job. There is more than living paycheck-to-paycheck and focusing on paying the power bill.

If you are sick and tired of being poor and powerless, then make up your mind today that you aren’t going to be content with "not enough" any more.

Decide today that you are going to Do Something to change your life.

Join us, along with others who have decided to change the world!

As we say here in the South, "Come go with us!"

So many books, so little time...
