How Do You Do It All?

Hey,

Does your home business take too much time away from your family . . . and vice versa?

Is it a struggle to discern what should have your attention and energy at any one time?

Do you have trouble staying motivated?

Is your life so dominated by the urgent that you never get to the important?

Do you ever feel like you could finally “get it all done” . . . if you could just get past that 24-hours-in-a-day barrier?

How do you do it all?

Mary Jo Tate of Tupelo, Mississippi, our outgoing Protégé of the Year for 2006, knows all about the challenges of balancing home, kids, and business.

She’s a single mom who homeschools her four boys while working exclusively from home as a writer, editor, and book coach.

Here’s what one of Mary Jo’s clients has to say:

“By directing my attention to acceptance of that which doesn’t match up to my ideal, Mary Jo Tate liberated me to pour my energies into being a woman of motion, rather than being paralyzed by my list of what “should be” but wasn’t. No longer do I have my eyes on the disappointments of what I’m not doing, instead, I can now focus on the potential opportunities of whatcould be done.

“Mary Jo didn’t cut me any slack, all the while operating in kindness and with a Mother’s heart. She attacked my belief that I should be able to “do it all” with a ferocity given only to a woman who has been beaten up by that lie herself. She focused her super-woman laser eyes on the issues in my life and took them on!”

Will you join us in Atlanta?

Hey,

We recently asked the question, “What Would Have to Happen for You to Join Us at our Annual Entrepreneur Days Conference in August?”

Here were some of the answers:

“Move it north so it isn't so far away.”

“A little closer to my home in Seattle, but it sounds like a great conference”

“I need it to be held in St. Louis!”

“Ooh! A conference in Florida would be good!”

“I’ve been following you a long time but haven’t made it there because I live in Germany.”

“A free air ticket from New Zealand”

Well, guess what? It’s in Atlanta this year.

For our Atlanta event, we have guests registered who are coming from Saudi Arabia Washington, California, and Canada.

When opportunity like this where we bring a handful of millionaires who don’t have a problem sharing their secrets and teaching others how they have made their fortunes presents itself to you, look at it differently.

Instead of looking at the distance as a problem, look at it the way our Protégé of the Year for 2006 does.

Mary Jo Tate is a single mom in Tupelo, MS who totally provides for her family while also homeschooling her 4 boys.

Mary Jo has attended all of our conferences except the very first one that was held at my house. She always takes one of her boys to our events and plans an extra day after the event is over to see the local sites. She makes it a field trip and writes it in her school journal.

But more than that, she has dedicated a whole weekend to focusing her attention on just one boy.

How do you think it makes that young man feel? What kind of impact do you think a weekend away with mom will have on that young man’s self esteem?

Think about the memories they have created.

Mary Jo does what I have done for years. I take my teens to the mentors and experiences they need. I don’t wait for them to come to me.

How does Mary Jo do it all?

That’s what she’ll be sharing when she reveals her secrets with our Proteges at our Protégé Day on Thursday, August 23, before the event.

If you want to join us, it’s not too late.

However, the special negotiated rate on hotel rooms expires on Sunday, August 12 so if you are planning to attend but haven’t registered just yet, don’t delay. The rate goes from $89 to $159.

If you have any questions, I would love to answer them for you. Just email and let us know.

See you there!
