Deadline for Social Networking Class is Midnight Sunday!

Jennifer Navarrete is one of the most well-known podcasters online. In June and July, she will be teaching an online class on how to use the social sites to drive traffic to your site, blog or auction.

Do you realize that with this info, you could start your own biz?

Are you aware that learning secrets like this is how you turn that computer of yours into an ATM?

Did you know that most folks don’t have a clue about how to monetize sites like YouTube but you can watch her do it on your computer during our Webinars?

Well, that’s what Jennifer is going to teach the students who have registered for her class.

Her 3-week class will be held on Wednesdays, June 25, July 2 and July 9 at 4 PM Eastern Time and the deadline is midnight, this Sunday.

Yes, they will be recorded so it’s okay to miss one.

How God Answered 4 Prayers in 1 Afternoon

Last Monday, I had to fly to Las Vegas for one of Armand Morin’s mastermind meetings. (You can’t imagine what this like until you experience it.)

I’ve had an unusually high volume of interactions with Murphy lately which means my team and I must be doing something right!

But just as I was trying to leave, friends and family members were calling to chat, secretaries were making unbelievable mistakes that had to be corrected before I left and I was severely behind schedule.

So as I jumped into my car and headed for the airport in Nashville two hours away, I prayed… as I usually do.

I prayed for protection on the road from crazy drivers. (I really pray that; ask my kids.)

I prayed for Wendell to keep all the kids busy and safe (as in, at least know where they all are) while I’m gone.

And I prayed for 4 specific things:

1. A parking space near Shuttle Stop #1.

2. The shuttle to come as soon as I got there.

3. No line at the Sky Cap when I checked in.

4. The plane to be late.

As I was sitting at a dead stop way too long at traffic light after traffic light, I remembered to pray for the 5 o’clock traffic in Nashville that usually starts about 3.

I really wanted to stop to get my nails done but the road construction was so frustrating that I was afraid I would miss my flight. So I waved as I drove past my favorite nail salon.

The whole time, I never ever got upset or frantic.

(My kids won’t believe that because I ALWAYS act like there’s a fire somewhere.)

Hey, life is short so cram in as much fun and excitement as possible, right?

So guess how this story ends?

I got to Nashville about 30 minutes behind schedule in just enough time for me to catch the plane… but not my luggage.

I flew into the economy parking lot and headed straight for Shuttle Stop #1, even though the entire parking lot was packed.

Guess what?

Right across from the Shelter #1 was ONE empty parking space!
It was literally about 8 steps from the shelter.

Answered Prayer #1.

So I whipped into the parking space, grabbed my purse, got my two bags out of the trunk and rolled them over to the shelter.

I locked the car and started shuffling through my purse to find my license and ticket when the shuttle pulled up!

I hadn’t even heard it coming, but there it was!

Answered Prayer #2.

So I took the shuttle to the Southwest Skycap and guess what?

You guessed it!

Although there were people checking all along the desk, I walked up and one of the young men looked at me and waved me to him.

Answered Prayer #3.

I quickly asked, “Will my luggage make this flight?”

And he replied, “Well, not only will your luggage make it but you will too. You have an hour and half delay.”

Answered Prayer #4.

Now normally I wouldn’t rejoice over my plane being that late because I usually schedule my flights a bit close.

But this time, I was thrilled and told him, “Well, I guess that means I have time to get a manicure!”

And I headed off to make Miss Delores at the nail salon my new Best Friend.

So technically, that wasn’t an answered prayer request because I never asked, but you know what? God knows the desires of our hearts and he often fulfills them even before we ask!

In this case, He did.

I even had time to get a pedicure!

God just got Bonus Points in my book!

(Hey, it’s okay for busy moms to reward themselves every once in a while. You’ve got to find ways to relieve that stress that works for you or else the constant stress of Life with Many Kids may affect you... and others.)

How do you think I learned that?

(Don’t let anyone put you under condemnation about treating yourself to something special occasionally. They are clueless about your life if they do.)

Anyway, when we finally boarded the plane, there were a bunch of unhappy flyers who were ready to be where they were going.

I failed to mention to them that I had asked for this extension!

All this is to encourage you that if you have a need in your life, don’t carry the burden by yourself. Give it to God.

He cares for you. He wants to bless you. He wants to increase you.
And He wants to use you.

You are here for a reason and it is to glorify Him in all you do, whatever that is.

If you need help finding your purpose in life, consider attending our annual home business conference. That’s what we do.

My Dedication to Helping Fathers

As we honor fathers across this land on Father’s Day this weekend, I have to admit that I have been feeling truly sorry for them lately.

We live in the richest country in the world.

We are more educated than any other people on earth have ever been.

We dominate the most cutting-edge invention of all time – the Internet, yet way too many highly educated fathers can’t pay their monthly bills.

And although this country is heading for bankruptcy, just like in the days of the Depression, those who were prepared for hard times, thrived. Those who weren’t, jumped out of windows.

With the cost of gas rising daily and political change about to overtake the White House, who can guess what is about to happen in our economy?

How can this be?

Well, I think there are several factors to attribute this to but here’s one of the main ones.

Our government educational system doesn’t tailor education to fulfill the calling of the individual. That’s fine because that’s not really its purpose.

Parents, however, are supposed to be responsible for helping their young people find their direction, especially the father.

But somewhere in our recent history, we’ve delegated that duty to the state so now the state prepares men and women to work for it.

That IS the purpose of government education and it does a decent job.

But… what if you want to actually find fulfillment in what you do and desire to live a quality life with 5, 10 or 15 children, many grandchildren and your extended family members (all which can be expensive), while also blessing others?

Do the math on THAT bill.

Then imagine the stress.

(Maybe you don’t have to imagine it. Maybe you already live with it.)

I am really concerned about the weight that so many fathers bear on their shoulders these days.

And I am dedicated to helping as much as I can. My oldest son and I worked together to bring our dad home and I want to help you do the same.

Imagine how you could help those around you if you only knew exactly what you are supposed to be doing on this earth so you could tap into the power of God ASAP and channel the abundant blessings He has waiting for you to those who truly need them.

Just imagine.

Then imagine the cost of starting all over again with a new career AFTER you’ve found out that the one you fell into won’t provide for your basic needs… or give you the fulfillment that doing a good job with what you love brings.

The question you have to ask yourself then is this, “What can I do to change the situation?”

If you seriously need to do something different, there are three things you must do.

1. Get vision for YOUR life.

You won’t get that from watching CNN or hiding in online video games.

2. Get specific education.

You won’t get education on how to make money from government schools. That is not their purpose.

Yes, you can go back to college and spend 4 more years learning another trade or getting another degree, but you won’t be much closer to your goal than you are now. They don’t teach you the principles of success in college. They prepare you to have a job.

How do you think I know that?

3. You’ve got to take action as soon as possible to solve the problem.

Waiting won’t make it better. If you don’t do something now, you won’t be any better off a year from now.

Proverbs 4:7 says, “The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; and with all your acquiring, get understanding.”

The problem is, where are the men and women who understand how to make money who should be directing fathers to help their teens make wise decisions?

Why aren’t the fathers of this land qualified to help their children directly?

Could it be possible that they lack vision, education and positive action? Hmm….

So we find ourselves knee-deep in debt and struggling frantically just to keep up while the flood waters of the economy are rising faster than the water in the streets of Cedar Rapids.

We’d better do something quick.

So here is my solution to getting the vision you need to get started.

I have invited a handful of millionaires who understand how to make money in a variety of ways to teach you about what they do at our annual home business conference in Atlanta.

We’ve been hosting this event that started in my home for 8 years now.

You can spend a full 3-day weekend with these men of understanding and ask them your questions. Take one of them to dinner.

They can give you the vision you don’t have.

They can teach you things you don’t even know exist.

Not many people can do that.

But in order for them to help you, you have to meet them.

So if you are serious about finding your direction in life, pray about this seriously. The Lord has put this together for you.

I am God’s Virtual Assistant on earth. I am one of his event planners on earth. He is the boss; I just make the arrangements for Him.

If you want to change your life, here’s one place to start:

http://www.entrepreneurdays.com/

It may not be easy to make it happen, but hey, what are your options?

Read this page, and then plan to join us. And don’t forget to bring your teens. You’ll kick yourself once you get there and see what they’ve missed.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us and we’ll call you.

Just visit our site - http://www.entrepreneurdays.com/ – and click on Contact Us.

I am serious about changing this country.

I am serious about helping moms and dads.

Picture me as a redneck home school mom from the backside of nowhere driving through the floodwaters of Cyberspace in a monster truck coming to rescue you.

You’ve heard the joke about the guy on the rooftop in the flood who prays to God for help, then refuses to take the helping hand of two different guys in boats and a ladder hanging from a helicopter just before he drowns.

Well, here comes that ladder again.

Grab it before it’s too late!

who wants you to meditate on the words of theologian Cotton Mather who believed in teaching children to serve their God with a trade

P.S. No matter what’s happening in your life, forget about it all for just one day and have a happy Father’s Day!

20 Statements
By Cotton Mather

1. I will resolve to do all I can that my child may be the Lord’s.
2. I will encourage my child to every day cry to God that He would be the child’s Father, and Saviour, and Leader.
3. I will pray for my child daily.
4. I will read the Bible to my child and tell the stories of the Bible to them.
5. I will teach my child to memorize Scripture.
6. I will teach my child the Catechism.
7. I will teach my child to pray.
8. I will teach my child to be kind.
9. I will teach my child to read and write. I will direct their reading and talk with them about what they have read.
10. My yoke will be light. I will wholly avoid that harsh, fierce, crabbed usage of the children that would make them tremble and abhor to come into my presence. I will always proportion the chastisements to the miscarriages; neither smiting bitterly for a very small piece of childishness nor frowning only a little for some real wickedness.
11. I will teach my child to love Christ.
12. I will encourage my child to speak with me about the state of their soul.
13. I will be careful about my children’s companions.
14. I will discuss the sermons we hear with my child.
15. I will use the opportunities of Days of Humiliation, Days of Thanksgiving, and particularly birthdays to talk about the works of God.
16. I will use the opportunity of trouble, sickness or pain to remind them to be mindful of Christ and eternity.
17. I will teach my child a trade or business.
18. I will show my children that their main end must be to acknowledge the great God, and His glorious Christ; and bring others to acknowledge Him.
19. I will oblige the children to retire sometimes, and ponder on that question: “What shall I wish to have done, if I were now a-dying”?
20. I will endeavor to see my child espoused to the Saviour first, then I will help them as I can for their best accommodation in the married state.

Keeping All the Plates Spinning

People ask me all the time, “How do you do all that you do?”

Well, it’s not easy.

It takes organization and I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to sorting stuff.

So here’s what I do.

At night, I write down the next day’s To Do List in my daytimer. That way I don’t worry about them all night.

If something keeps me awake, I turn on the light and enter in the appropriate place to be acted on in my daytimer.

Then the next day, I spend the first part of the day going to God. I talk to God, I praise Him, and thank Him for all He has done, is doing and will do on the earth.

Unless it’s deer season, I walk in the woods with the dog. I spend the early morning listening to the wind in the leaves, the birds in the trees and the voice of God in my heart.

I read my Bible and God gives me more tasks to accomplish.

It doesn’t matter if some tasks are business-related and some concern the family. I put all the appointments, classes, lessons outside the home and conference calls on the schedule.

Then I walk through them one at a time.

I also prioritize them with family first, then business. The Lord may give you several different assignments so don’t frustrate yourself by trying to keep each duty in your life separated into nice neat little categories.

If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, learn to keep all the plates spinning all at the same time.

You can do it! You are created in God’s image. You are a multi-faceted organizational machine!

If you get overwhelmed (and everyone does at times), just pray to God and tell Him you can’t do all this by yourself. If He doesn’t help, you can’t do it.

That’s the grace of God.

So go for it!

And make 2008 the year you watch God change your life.

If Moses Delegated, So Should You!
Or
2 Reasons to Quit Being a Control Freak

Have you ever felt that you were led by God (or your boss at work … or your spouse) to do a good thing but before long, you felt like the burden was just too great to bear?

I have.

You know you’re doing something that is very necessary and you know others are counting on you, but you find yourself thinking way too often, “It’s too much to handle.”

Well, if that’s where you are, you are in good company. Moses found himself in the same situation.

God told him to judge the actions of the Israelites so he did. Every day, he would sit to judge the people from “morning until night” and tell them if what they were doing was right or wrong according to God’s ways. They were all dependent on him.

(And Moses was in training for reigning in heaven.)

Then his father-in-law Jethro came along one day and said, “What are you doing? You are going to wear out yourself and wear out the people (They are going to get tired of you.)”

So Jethro said, “Represent the people before God and bring their cases before Him. Also,
teach the people the decrees and laws show them the way they must walk show them the work they must do “Choose able men, God-fearing men of truth who hate unjust gain and place them over thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens to be their rulers. And let them judge the people at all times.”

So he did.

Now, let’s look at this situation.

* Moses took his assignment seriously and didn’t even consider asking anyone else to help.
Ever done that?

* The people didn’t know the law and weren’t trained to do their jobs because they looked to Moses for all leadership.
Ever done it all yourself because it was “easier”?

* Even though Moses was God’s man at the time, his father-in-law had vision for his life that he didn’t have.
Ever been blind about matters in your own life even though it’s easy to see what others should do?

* When the judges started helping Moses, more than likely they felt the sense of purpose that comes when a person contributes to an important project.
Ever been guilty of robbing others of that inner satisfaction because you didn’t let them help?

Think about how these concepts could apply in your situation with your children or with the people you work with or in other organizations.

Too often, we perfectionists carry all the burdens of a project we believe we have been given from God and try do it all ourselves. When others ask if they can help, we say, “No, we’re good.”
We don’t realize that, like Moses, we will wear ourselves out doing good works while robbing others of the blessing and satisfaction that comes with contributing to an important project.

Our purpose as leaders or parents then is to train those around us to do their part so they can help with the larger project, not just do it all ourselves.

Our goal is to create a light in the eyes of those we are responsible to train.

When you see the light that comes from a deep inner satisfaction in someone you’ve invested in by training, you have succeeded. You have done your job. You have accomplished the main goal.
So, work to create light in the eyes of others.

You might just discover that someone else can do that job just as well … or maybe even better…than you!

And you won’t go to bed as tired anymore.

So many books, so little time...

Learn to be a Virtual Assistant

Hey,

The Internet has changed business, and here's an opportunity for you to benefit from it.

As more and more businesses become virtual, more people are able to provide services to small online companies from home.

Virtual Assistants, commonly known as "VA's," manage it much like an office manager does, only they do it all virtually from a remote location.

They are becoming very popular.

The problem is, there aren't that many of them.

And there is a serious need in the online marketplace for loyal, skilled, and trustworthy VA's.

So my personal VA and I are going to teach you!

Together we are going to host an 8-week class via Webinars and conference calls to train basic Virtual Assistants.

The classes will start on Thursday, October 11.

To learn more about it, listen to the call I did with my personal VA, Denise Lindvall

You can listen to it here:

Just click the play button under Denise's picture.

If you're not interested but know someone who may be,
please forward this invitation to them with a personal note.

Learn How to Build Websites that Sell

Hey,

Anybody can build a website, but not just anybody can build
a site that sells over and over and over again.

There are some secrets.

And of course, it’s hard to find experts who not only understand
how to make a site sell well but are also willing to teach others.

Well, for the last two years, I have been working with my webmaster and teaching her everything I’ve been learning from the Best of the Best.

She has also been studying with Christina Hills, the ShoppingCart Queen, and Frank Deardurff, the webmaster for many of the Internet Millionaires.

She knows how to build a website.

And now she is ready to teach an Intermediate Web Design Class, so you can learn too!

Her name is Karen Brunet, and she is another homeschool mom whois a very valuable member of my team.

She is someone you can trust your kids to learn from.

Tonight, I’ll be interviewing her on the phone about her upcoming class, and I would love to have you join us!

If you already know the basics of web design and are ready for the next phase, we would love to have you join us to learn more about this very basic and necessary skill.

This will be a live, interactive, online class. So it doesn’t matter where you live; you’ll be able to participate! This class is, however, not for beginners.
